Government continuing to acquire land for DFC

    The Minister of State for Railways, Mr K. H. Muniappa, recently informed Parliament that the government was continuing to acquire land for the proposed dedicated rail freight corridor (DFC), according to Exim News Service.
    Expressing the hope of completing the project by 2017, he said that 65 per cent of the land earmarked for the project had been acquired and MoUs inked as part of efforts to start the project on time.
