Date:2010-08-11 Readers:

THE initial stage of southern, central, and northern rail routes between Guangxi and several ASEAN countries was completed recently, reports Xinhua News.

The three rail routes are still expanding, with plans for Guangxi becoming a rail hub for all cities in the province, as well as neighbouring provinces and countries, including Guangdong, Hunan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Singapore and Vietnam.

Over time, a high-speed rail network serving China and ASEAN states with Nanning as the regional hub and Singapore as its final destination, will be established.
