QANTAS and Australia Post have announced the appointment of Stephen Cleary as the new chief executive officer of their joint venture logistics company Star Track Express.

    Mr Cleary will start in May bringing more than 20 years' experience in the commercial freight, distribution and logistics industries to the job, having joined Qantas in 1998 after working 10 years in senior commercial roles at Elders Australia and Shell.

    Mr Cleary is a member and director of the Australian Logistics Council and an associate of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.
