Jointly organized by SISI and Shanghai Association of Productivity Science, the Young Scholars' Seminar on "Construction and Development of Green Logistics" was held successfully on April 14, 2009. Upwards of 20 young scholars from related industries attended the seminar. Through passionate discussions and speeches, young scholars shared original and unique views on hot topics on green logistics such as the green logistics in the recycle economy, green supply chain theory, green transportation, application of green logistics information system, green logistics theory, as well as green logistics and third-party logistics and distribution. The development of an era depends on the youth, thus the successful Young Scholars' Seminar may strengthen the communication and exchange between young scholars, so as to positively promote the development of green logistics in China.
