Global logistics provider Agility has been appointed as the preferred vendor for the Adelaide Convention Centre in Australia. The role will require Agility to manage all loading dock operations.

"Agility Fairs & Events is delighted to be appointed to this role at the Adelaide Convention Centre. We have a long history of working closely with the exhibitions and conferences held at the centre. The ability to focus on this full time will ensure a seamless service to our mutual clients, the exhibitors," said Bob Moore, managing director of Agility Fairs & Events in a company statement.

The range of services Agility Fairs & Events will provide the Adelaide Convention Centre include delivery and dispatch of goods, scheduling of deliveries, traffic management and control, fork-lifting services and off-site storage and consolidation.

After hours and weekend logistics services are also expected to offer the centre's clients greater convenience and specialised assistance with their needs.
