Heading for the integrated transport systemlegal system research in progress
Date:2009-10-28 Readers:
Sep 18, MOT invited 13 experts in the fields of transport and legal affairs to study and discuss how to establish an integrated transport laws and regulations system, this marks the official commence of the research on a legal system for the transport sector.
??Since beginning of 2009, MOT has arranged some research institutes to make preliminary study on the content, objectives and working procedures of an integrated transport system.
Experts attending the seminar stated that to build up an integrated transport system requires the legislative system to closely follow up. On one hand, implement the relatively mature policy and practice into the form of laws and regulations; on the other hand, to focus on practical problems, set up a comprehensive and systematic legal system in terms of transport planning, network as well as hubs construction, and operational aspects.
