THE south western City of Chongqing plans to launch a number of international air cargo and passenger routes this year including direct flights to Los Angeles, Sydney, Rome, Milan, and Shanghai-Chongqing-Brussels, Singapore-Chongqing-New York service this year.

    By the end of this year, the city will be operating 40 international cargo flights per week.

    According to Xinhua's report, the city is now operating cargo flights to Dacca, Amsterdam, Belgium and the Dubai-Chongqing-Frankfurt route, offering 12 flights a week.
