MIQ Logistics is pleased announce that Ernesto Saenz has joined our Global Operations team as a Branch Manager of the Miami Global Logistics Center. He is responsible for managing all operations and accountable for overall P&L growth in Miami with an emphasis on developing business between the U.S. global gateway of Miami and Latin America.
    Ernesto has 15 years of logistics and entrepreneurial experience in Peru and Colombia. He has been with MIQ Logistics for the previous 3 years in global operations and pricing roles of increasing responsibility while based in Lima, Peru. Prior to joining MIQ, Ernesto held positions with RANSA, a major Peruvian customs broker and warehouse provider. He also has experience procuring logistics and supply chain services while employed with a direct sales import company and a leading European electrical products company, Schneider Electric, both in Latin America. His unique blend of cross cultural expertise, skills and experience makes him a valuable addition to the team in Miami.
    Ernesto received a BBA from the Universidad de Lima in Peru and a Masters in International Logistics and Supply Chain Strategy from Georgia Tech. He also holds several industry related certifications and completed coursework in the areas of Project Cargo Management, ISO and BASC Auditor, ERP Stock Reposition and International Commerce and Customs. Ernesto is fluent in both English and Spanish.
    The MIQ Logistics Miami Global Logistics Center includes a bonded warehouse and provides a broad range of logistics services, including Air and Ocean International Freight Forwarding, Air Charters, Project Logistics, Customs Brokerage, Warehouse/Distribution, Flow Through, PO Management, Packing and Crating, Pick and Pack, Kitting, order Fulfillment and Reverse Logistics. The MIQ Logistics employees staffing the facility include import and exports specialists, customs brokers and distribution specialists. The team is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French.
