Recently, upon rigorous evaluation by experts on all candidates recommended by various national organizations and approval of the Ministry of Education, China Scholarship Council announced a good news that Li Jianli, a doctoral student tutored by Professor and Secretary-General Zhen Hong of Shanghai International Shipping Institute (SISI), has been admitted as a joint training doctoral student with full scholarship at government expense in 2010 .
Li Jianli is a doctoral student in Logistics Management and Engineering at the Institute of Science of Shanghai Maritime University, and is concurrently a research fellow of SISI. She will go to the Dutch Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) as a visiting scholar for two years since the second half of this year, and engage in academic exchange and research on transport and logistics at OTB Institute of TU Delft. This is the first time for a postgraduate student of Shanghai Maritime University to obtain the national scholarship to study abroad at government expense, which will promote the external academic exchanges of SISI.
