Held successfully from March 24th to 25th, 2010, Shanghai International Shipping Forum 2010 received unanimous praises from industry professionals. Amid rapturous applauses, experts’ wonderful speeches sparkled insightful remarks, providing critical information for boosting the construction of Shanghai International Shipping Center.

As one of the major organizers, SISI successfully accomplished its task through a great deal of efforts and sincere cooperation with relevant parties in accordance with the requirements put forward by leaders from the Department of Water Transport under the Ministry of Transport, Shanghai Urban Construction and Communications Commission and Shanghai Maritime University. In the process of forum organization, SISI relied fully on the volunteer work provided by postgraduate interns. In addition to complimentary comments from the secretariat of the forum and participants, those students also received full recognition and appreciation from Secretary Yu Shicheng of SMU.
