On September 22, 2009, led by Secretary-General Zhen Hong, SISI's researchers held talks with officials of Pudong New Area Government. Zhen Hong introduced the main ideas and orientation of the research. After an exchange of views, a consensus was finally reached. SISI will undertake a preparatory research titled "Research on Riverbank and Shoreline Layout and Marine Function Expansion and Enhancement in Pudong New Area" for the preparation of the "12th Five-year Plan" and the revision of the overall plan.
