On the afternoon of November 25, as a special guest speaker, Yu Shicheng, Director of Shanghai International Shipping Institute and Party Committee Secretary and President of Shanghai Maritime University, delivered a special lecture at the COSCO Lecture Hall at Lingang New Campus for the “Oriental Rostrum” of Shanghai TV Comprehensive News Channel. Mr. Yu Shicheng explained the close relations between shipping and people’s lives, trade and finance. In addition, he put forward views on its future plan from the perspectives of vigorously developing the service industry, exploring the establishment of a comprehensive experimental zone for the development of international shipping, promoting and regulating the development of the cruise industry, transforming governmental functions, and gathering shipping talents, etc.
