Professor Fukushima, Oshima, Kohmura and Kamimura of Josai University visited Shanghai International Shipping Institute (SISI) on September 9, 2013. They enjoyed the company of Prof. Le Meilong, Deputy Dean of Scientific Research Academy Shanghai Maritime University during their trip to SISI. They were received by Prof. Li, Deputy Secretary General SISI among others.

Prof. Fukushima introduced his colleagues and Prof. Li gave a general picture of SISI to guest from Japan. A presentation by Prof. Kohmura followed grabbed everyone’s attention on the topic of a mismatching of technology level and technology transfer in supply chain management, which was the latest research result of a research group headed by Prof. Kohmura. The two sides later held a discussion over the presentation.

Located in Sakado Kanto and founded in 1956, Josai University is a private university offering a whole curriculum program ranging from economics, science to pharmacy, to list a few.
