On June 21, 2014, Zhen Hong, Secretary General of SISI, was invited to participate in the academic symposium themed with “New Space for Shanghai’s Urban Development and New Deepwater Port for 2040” hosted by East China Normal University. The workshop held in-depth discussions from different perspectives on the necessity and feasibility of Shanghai developing the new port area in Hengsha, and Secretary General Zhen Hong expressed his views on relevant issues.
