Required by the need to study and consult for port and shipping issues and in light of SISI’s actual needs, this report covers three aspects - shipping market prosperity analysis, shipping market volume, capacity and freight forecast analysis and global port development index analysis. Using the quantitative analysis (or quantitative plus qualitative) method, it solves problems concerning data analysis, application, evaluation and forecast in port and shipping study, and provides scientific basis for the study of and consultation for port and shipping issues.
