According to the categorization criteria for shipping related service sectors or sub-sectors in the WTO schedule of commitments and concessions on trade in service, this report picks out the key shipping service sectors for which the market access threshold must be lowered. Based on a comparative study of main shipping center cities in the world, the report carefully analyzes and grasps the current access threshold to the service trade market of shipping service sectors, and proposes the plan for lowering such threshold.
