Prof. Matteo Ignaccolo, University of Catani, visited Shanghai International Shipping Institute (SISI) today to brief researchers on his research on port-city relations.

He is on a study tour in Shanghai to do field research on interested issues regarding port-cities. Learning that Shanghai International Shipping Institute has conducted Shanghai case study in the port-cities program with OECD, he is pleased to visit the Institute and learn more.

Researchers at SISI’s end find Prof. Ignaccolo’s presentation interesting and enlightening. Both sides expressed willingness to stay in touch for prospective future collaboration.
