In
2013, Shanghai International Shipping Institute (SISI) together with
Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) conducted a joint
program on competitiveness of global port cities-Shanghai case study. Recently,
the result has been published. Written in both Chinese and English, this
publication browses through the status quo of Shanghai Port and its policies,
illustrates the impact of port on city and puts forward related suggestions on
enhancing the performance of Shanghai Port and its positive impact.
