Hong Kong's orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has won two Vendor of the Year 2010 awards from Mallory Dallas Cotton Division and Mallory Alexander International Logistics of Atlanta.
"I am pleased to say that OOCL has been chosen as the Vendor of the Year by the Mallory DFW office. We are appreciative of the exceptional service we received from OOCL Houston booking office and the OOCL documentation group in Charleston," said Mallory's Dallas district manager Sherry Ghee.
OOCL also won Vendor of the Year from Mallory Alexander International Logistics in Atlanta, another division of the Memphis 3PL.
Donna Nunz, Mallory Alexander's southeast export manager said the decision is based on the carrier that promoted the success of the company over the year - based on bookings, space, rates, customer service, equipment availability and documentation, as well as additional factors such as "willingness to help, and those persons that really go above and beyond for us.
OOCL provides a service for us that we consider a valuable comprehensive product - you have the complete package," she said.
