Panalpina has formed a strategic partnership with the Shanghai Lingang Group to provide a comprehensive bonded warehouse solution. The solution includes pick and pack, quality checks, and U-Turn shipments.
The partnership follows a strategic development meeting between Rudolf Hug, chairman of Panalpina Group, and the top management of the Shanghai Lingang group.
This year, Panalpina signed a partnership agreement with Lingang to offer one-stop logistics services to customers in Yangshan free trade port area.
“As an integrated logistics solutions provider, Panalpina’s focus is the continuous enhancement of our supply chain solutions to meet our customers’ needs,” said Hug. “The Shanghai Yangshan location will play a pivotal role in expanding our logistics services.”
Shippers can enjoy export tax refunds once the goods are declared in the free port area. Export Customs clearance must be obtained within 20 days of a shipment arriving at the warehouse. This practice allows a shipper to combine multiple shipments in a single export Customs clearance formality.
