CenterPoint Prop marks International Transload Logistics' Joliet opening
Date:2015-12-16 Readers:

Centerpoint Properties celebrated the grand opening of International Transload Logistics Inc's (ITL) 303,061 square foot facility at the CenterPoint Intermodal Center (CIC) in Joliet, immediately southwest of Chicago.

"CenterPoint was truly able to accommodate our business needs and we are excited about the space and connectivity our new building offers," said John Roetter, one of the founders of ITL.

ITL specialises in domestic and international logistics and full service warehousing and has been a CenterPoint tenant since 2010. Previously a tenant in Elwood, ITL moved to CIC - Joliet to accommodate its growing business and operations.

The state-of-the-art building is located in the heart of the park, less than one mile from the Union Pacific Joliet Intermodal Terminal, close the BNSF Logistics Park Chicago and immediate access to I-55 and I-80.

The building is part of a 485,476-square foot facility and includes 42 dock doors (expandable), 97 truck parking positions, and dual access to CIC - Joliet's private road.

"CenterPoint is pleased to continue our relationship with ITL and provide them with a strategically located facility," said Centerpoint development chief and company vice president Brian McKiernan.
