Entry-Exit inspectors take measures to support parallel imports
Date:2016-12-06 Readers:

In the first half of this year, the sales volume of imported cars reached 421,000 in China, down 9.35 percent from the earlier year.

Meanwhile, as parallel imported cars are gradually accepted by the public, the sales volume reached 54,548 in the same period, rising 9.15 percent year-on-year.

Waigaoqiao Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has taken measures and made working instructions to strengthen the inspection and supervision of parallel imported cars. The bureau also implements pre-inspections which shorten the average clearance time of cargos and promote the development of the car industry in Shanghai Free Trade Zone.
