From 10th to 19th May 2017, SISI delegation led by Prof. Zhen Hong, secretary-general, and Prof. Zhou Dequan, director of Domestic Shipping Research Department, visited port and shipping institutions in Mexico, Brazil and the USA. During the stay, SISI delegation successively paid a visit to Ocupa Group, COSCO Mexico, Norton Lily, Inchape, Sindamar, COSCO Brazil, Miami Cruise Port, etc. The two parties carried out an in-depth discussion on the development of local port and shipping industry, negotiated about the issues concerning cooperation and communication, and also exchanged ideas on how local shipping think tank develops, which provided related information for further progression of Global Shipping Think Tank Alliance.
