During 11th-12th July, 2017, the 3rd Maritime Silk Road Port International Cooperation Forum was held in Ningbo. It was sponsored by China Maritime Forum organizing committee, Zhejiang Province Ocean Port Commission, organized by Zhejiang Seaport Investment and Operation Group, Ningbo-Zhoushan Port Group, etc., and co-organized by SISI, etc. Delegation consisting of Prof. Zhen Hong, secretary-general, Prof. Zhang Jieshu, deputy secretary-general, Dr. Zhao Nan, assistant of secretary-general, Ms. Lu Weiling, director of International Cooperation Department, etc. participated in the Forum. At the meeting, Prof. Zhen Hong was invited by the organizing committee to deliver an impromptu speech on audience’s voting results upon hot issues in shipping and port industry. Dr. Zhao Nan, director of Port Research Department as well, released the 2016 Global Port Development Report at the meeting.
