On August 25, Dr. Jürgen Sorgenfrei, managing director of IHS Markit, together with Ms. HeLiang, senior sales executive, visited Shanghai International Shipping Institute (SISI). They were warmly received by Prof. Yin Ming, party secretary and deputy secretary-general of SISI, Dr. Xu Kai, director of Shipping Informatization Research Department and researchers from different departments. In this meeting, Dr. Jürgen Sorgenfrei briefed on the information of IHS Markit. Also researchers of SISI introduced the projects they have been working on. The two parties exchanged ideas about shipping data, port management model, etc. and brainstormed as to the trend of shipping market.
