On 17th July, 2017, Shanghai International Shipping Institute (SISI) held symposiums on “New Round of FTZ Shipping Area Opening-up & Free Trade Port Zone Construction in Shanghai”, “Shanghai International Shipping Centre Construction” and “Shipping and Port Industry Development”. Experts from Shanghai Customs, Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration, Shanghai Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, Maersk, DNV GL, etc. were invited to attend the symposiums. Prof. Zhen Hong, secretary-general of SISI, served as host; Prof. Zhang Jieshu, deputy secretary-general, Dr. Zhao Nan, assistant secretary-general, Mr. Xie Wenqing, researcher, etc. took part and exchanged ideas with experts about related issues.
