THE 3rd European Dredging Summit will be held February 28 to March 1 in Bremen and focus on a range of technical, commercial, environmental issues.
One major speaker will be Jurgen Grabe, Institute of Geotechnics and Construction director at Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) whose talk, "Numerical Simulation of Dredged Underwater Slopes", focusing on motivation, numerical methods, underwater slope failures, steep slopes under wave loads and numerical simulation of bucket dredging.
Case studies will be discussed and key industry experts will share their experience and insights on the recent developments in dredging, at the ACI (Active Communications International) organised conference.
Among the confirmed speakers will be Maria-Cristina Marolda, policy officer for innovation & research, European Commission's director general of mobility & transport; John Dillon-Leetch, CEO, London Port Authority; Felix Leinemann, head of unit MARE.A.2, Blue Economy Sectors, Aquaculture and Maritime Spatial Planning, European Commission and Artur Panakhov, dredging department deputy director. |
