Capital Link's 15th International Shipping Forum online March 2-3

CAPITAL LINK's 15th Annual International Shipping Forum will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 2-3 as a digital event with container shipping discussed on the second day.

The forum is held in partnership with Citi and in cooperation with NYSE and Nasdaq.

Over the course of two days, the forum will feature 84 senior executives from leading maritime companies, financiers and industry participants and will examine the macroeconomic issues that are shaping and transforming the international shipping markets today, featuring a comprehensive review and outlook of the various shipping markets, made more relevant by the release of companies' annual results.

Discussions will include topics of critical relevance to the industry such as geopolitics, environmental regulations, technology, addressing the current crewing crisis, fleet renewal, Post - Covid recovery and more.

The panel will discuss the latest trends, developments and outlook in the container shipping sector focusing, among other, on demand and supply fundamentals, global trade and commercial issues, operational and commercial matters, freight rates, asset values, and more.

Moderating will be Christian Wetherbee, director of air freight, surface shipping research at Citi Research. Panelists will include Jerry Kalogiratos, CEO, Capital Product Partners; Evangelos Chatzis, CFO, Danaos Corporation; Aristides Pittas, chairman and CEO, Euroseas and Eurodry; George Youroukos, chairman, Global Ship Lease and Constantine Baack, CEO of MPC Container Ships.
