PREMIER Wen Jiabao called on the general manager of SITC Vietnam Co Ltd Sun Yongli in the course of meeting members of the overseas Chinese community in Vietnam.
    Shenzhen-based SITC International is a leading logistics operator in China. It first entered the Southeast Asian market in 2004, launched shipping lanes connecting China, Japan, Korea to Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand.
    The company set up a joint-venture Vietnam office last year, offering ship and customs broking as well as freight forwarding services. This year, the company set up SITC-Dinh Logistics Co Ltd with its Vietnamese partner to build and operate warehousing and logistics facility at Vietnam's Dinh  Vu Port, offering comprehensive logistics to shippers from Vietnam and neighbouring countries.
