LOGWIN, a provider of air, ocean freight and logistics services, has opened a new office in Perth to offer additional support and services to customers in Western Australia.
"The opening of the Perth office demonstrates Logwin's commitment to our local, regional and global customers. The location of our new facility close to Perth International Airport enables us to deliver a wide range of timely, value-added freight and logistics solutions," said Thomas Kilian, country director, Logwin Air & Ocean, Australia.
Perth is a gateway for Western Australia which has been the focus of an economic boom centred on mining and oil and gas sectors. At the same time there has been corresponding growth in demand for logistics and distribution services across a broad range of industries, said a statement from Logwin.
Stephen Aylmore has been appointed branch manager in Perth and is a native of the Western Australian capital city. He has many years of experience in operations and sales primarily in the Western Australian market.
