Netherlands based CEVA Logistics has signed an agreement with Koctas, part of the Kingfisher Group, a leading home improvement retail company, to manage inbound operations and distribution between stores across Turkey.
    Under the agreement, CEVA will manage the inbound operations by collecting household improvement goods from 650 suppliers daily basis and distribute them to 27 Koctas stores.
    The second part of the contract involves CEVA transferring products between the Koctas stores in Turkey. A vital part of the operation is CEVA's ability to distribute all products without being restricted to a maximum or minimum order amount. CEVA will travel an estimated 500,000 kilometres across Turkey each year to fulfil these contract requirements.
    "We design, create and operate supply chain solutions on national, regional and global scales for our large-scale national or multinational customers," said CEVA Turkey-Balkans general manager Aslan Uzun.
