TRANSPORT and logistics centre Primorsky near Vladivostok to be built by Freight Village group in Mikhailovsky PDA will be able to handle 88,000 TEU in 2025, reports St Petersburg's PortNews.

The facility is to be delivered at the end of 2024. It will ensure the growth of Russia's Far East trade with the Asia-Pacific Region (APR) countries.

Under an agreement with Russian Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, FV Primorsky will invest US$95 million and create 430 jobs as a resident of Mikhailovsky PDA.

TLC Primorsky will provide services for handling and storage of containers delivered by railway and road transport.

TLC Primorsky will be built at railway station Vosdvizhnsky near Ussuriysk in the Primorsky Territory.

The agreement on cooperation in the implementation of the TLC Primorsky project was signed by FEADC general director Nikolay Zapryagayev, Ussuriysk municipality head Yevgeny Korzh and FVL general director Ruslan Zalivatsky at the 7th Eastern Economic Forum.
