THE Maersk Cleveland, the second vessel in the SAVER 15,500-TEU series, has been delivered to Seaspan Corporation, reports New York's Marine Link.
Constructed at China's Jiangnan Shipyard, the ship's handover occurred on November 15.
Seaspan, a wholly owned subsidiary of Atlas Corp, initiated the construction of six ships in March 2021, marking a significant addition to its shipbuilding portfolio.
Each completed vessel will be engaged in long-term charters with global liner customers as part of the arrangement.
The inaugural vessel of the series, Maersk Charleston, was handed over earlier in the year. The remaining vessels in the series are on track for delivery, scheduled to be completed by mid-2024.
