The normal entry and exit order of international vessels in Shanghai's main port area was affected to varying degrees by foggy weather Thursday. As of 9 o 'clock on the 17th, nearly 50 international sailing ships in the Waigaoqiao Border inspection Station have postponed or canceled their original berthing and sailing plans. Waigaoqiao Border inspection Station launched the emergency plan for bad weather in time to cope with the adverse effects of fog and maintain the normal order of the port.

According to the Waigaoqiao border inspection station command center, the Waigaoqiao port area since the early morning of 17 fog, visibility in some areas is less than 100 meters, the normal navigation order of international ships has been affected.

In response to the situation of ship detention and cancellation of port call plan caused by foggy weather, Waigaoqiao border inspection Station has launched emergency plan for bad weather in time, paid close attention to the dynamic information of ship import and export in maritime aspects, accurately grasp the changes of ship entry and exit plan, and informed the ship timely of weather information and border inspection measures for the convenience of people through various means; Strengthen video surveillance and inspection of dock personnel and vehicles to effectively prevent risks and hidden dangers. At the same time, the border inspection station also pays close attention to changes in the fog weather, and timely adjusts the deployment of police forces according to the situation, so as to cope with the peak of ships entering and leaving the port after the fog dissipates, properly maintain the port order of ships and ports, and strive to minimize the impact of the fog delay on international sailing ships.
