Approved! Another port integrated and expanded opening
Date:2024-03-18 Readers:
After the integration and expansion of the opening of Zhuhai port, it will effectively solve the blockage and difficulties of port planning, such as congenital deficiency, over-dense layout, numerous port subjects and serious homogenization competition.

In recent years, Zhuhai, relying on its unique location advantages, has vigorously promoted the opening of ports to the outside world, and actively developed port industries and Marine economy.

In order to solve the blocking points and pain points in the development of Zhuhai port, and implement the requirements of "accelerating the integration of water transport ports to the direction of 'one city and one port' with prefecture-level cities as the unit" proposed in the National "14th Five-Year Plan" port Development Plan, Zhuhai vigorously promotes and coordinates port integration and expansion of opening and approval work, which has recently been approved by The State Council.

The integration and expansion of Zhuhai port this time mainly covers the following five aspects:

First, the existing Zhuhai port, Wanshan port, Jiuzhou port, Wan Wan Port, Doumen Port 5 national Class I port integration, and named Zhuhai port, the corresponding change to Gaolan, Doumen, Hongwan, Jiuzhou, Wanshan, Tangjia 6 port areas.

The second is to expand the scope of opening to include the two operation areas of Huangmaohai and Jidi Men in Gaolan Port area, the three operation areas of Hongwan Port area, Cross men and Hengqin Bay, and the Tangjia Port area.

Third, the scope of open waters of ports that have been opened to the outside world but have not been defined, including Dawanshan Island and Wailingding Island of the former Jiuzhou Port, Wanchai Port, Doumen Port and Wanshan Port.

Fourth, the former Zhuhai port and the former Wanshan port Guishan Island first and second operation area, which are not standardized in the original open water area, are re-labeled with the current unified standard coordinate system.

Fifth, the integration and optimization of the former second-class port resources, the former second-class port Doumen Port cargo terminal, Hongwan National code, Xiyu port, were included in the Doumen Port area, Hongwan Port area to expand the scope of opening, and the former second-class port that has not been operating for a long time started the withdrawal mechanism.

It is understood that after the integration and expansion of Zhuhai port, it will effectively solve the inherent deficiency of the original port planning, too dense layout, multi-line distribution points, unreasonable shoreline use structure, urgent improvement of infrastructure construction, lagging construction of smart port, as well as many port subjects, serious homogenization competition, lack of effective coordination and other blockages and difficulties, and the functional division of labor between various port areas will advance Step by step adjustment and clarification, the shoreline resources will be rationally planned and utilized, and the supervision force will also be transformed to the direction of intensification and informatization.
