Hector Beurotte announced an increase in freight rates on Asian routes.

A few days ago, Beurotte announced that he would raise the GRI for the routes from Asia to the west coast of Latin America, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America and the east coast of Latin America.

The new charging standards are: 700 dollars per 20-foot dry box and 900 dollars per 40-foot dry box, high box and non-operating cold box.

The effective date of the new fees is April 1, but for Asia to Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands,

The effective date is April 19th.

The specific effective scope includes Asian countries: China, China, Macau, Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, Indonesia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Laos and Brunei.

The specific charging standards are: US$ 1,600 /TEU and US$ 3,000 /FEU from the Far East to Northern Europe; The Far East to the Western Mediterranean is 2800 USD /TEU and 3500 USD /FEU; The Far East to Adriatic Sea is $2,825 /TEU and $3,550 /FEU; From the Far East to the Eastern Mediterranean, Black Sea (Bulgaria, Romania), Turkey and Egypt, 3300 USD /TEU and 3900 USD /FEU; Far East to North Africa: 3475 USD /TEU and 4700 USD /FEU.
