The inaugural voyage of a ro-ro sea charter for domestic automotive companies!
Date:2024-04-09 Readers:
Recently, in Shanghai Port Waigaoqiao Port Haitong Terminal, Chang'an Minsheng Logistics Ro-Ro shipping chartered the first voyage, nearly 2,000 brand new domestic new energy vehicles, aboard the Ro-Ro ship set sail to sea.

This is the first time that a domestic automobile enterprise has shipped cars for export by independently contracting the ro-ro vessel mode.

According to the introduction, in order to crack the problem of international capacity shortage, Chang'an Minsheng Logistics to strengthen cooperation with international shipping enterprises, and promote the independent charter mode.

Compared with the traditional shipping booking mode, the independent charter mode breaks through the constraints of shortage of shipping space in the shipping market, and can realise the fixed point, fixed line, fixed ship and fixed time to ensure the delivery time, and provide customers with lower tariffs.

It is understood that China's current automobile exports are the main logistics: ro-ro ship transport, container ship transport, China-European liner and neighbouring countries road transport four.

With the rapid increase in China's automobile exports, especially the rise of new energy vehicles, the demand for ocean-going Ro-Ro vessels has also increased, domestic automobile enterprises such as SAIC, BYD, Changan, etc., have become involved in the field of Ro-Ro transport, in order to grasp the initiative in the vehicle export transport market.
