Yongkang Holdings Applies for Listing, Singapore Container Yard Operator Coming to HKEx

(hereinafter referred to as: Yongkang Holdings) submitted a listing application to the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, with Tongren Financing Limited as its exclusive sponsor, according to the disclosure of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 14 June.

According to the prospectus, Yongkang Holdings is a Singapore container yard operator, mainly for the ASEAN region and China operating container shipping companies and container leasing companies to provide services. The company is headquartered in Singapore and operates in the Mainland, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. As at 7 June 2024, the company operates 20 container yards in 10 locations.

Wellcome Holdings generally operates under the brand name "Wellcome" in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam, and under the brand names "PCL" and "Ming Fung" in Hong Kong, the PRC. In Hong Kong, the company operates under the brand names "PCL" and "Ming Fung". As for the Company's business in the Mainland, it operates under the brand names "Hak Yun" and "Yi Fa".

The Company's business model focuses on the provision of storage and handling of empty containers, repair and maintenance, and transport, and it operates and manages its business through three main business segments, each of which is distinct but complementary to the other: Container Yard Operations; Warehousing and Container Freight Stations; Container Sales; and New Container Inspection.
