Container Corp of India Q1 volume up 11pc to 1,290,000 TEU

CONTAINER Corp of India posted an 11 per cent FY26 first quarter year-on-year increase in throughput to 1,290,000 TEU, reports Capital Markets




On sequential basis, total throughput declined 4.26 per cent quarter to quarter from 1,347,495 TEU in Q4 FY25.


Domestic (DOM) throughput stood at 3.1 million TEU in Q1 FY26, registering the growth of 9.12 per cent as compared with 2,89,787 TEU posted in same period a year ago.


The export-import (EXIM) throughput climbed by 12.01 per cent year on year to 9.7 million TEU in the quarter ended June 30.


Concor is engaged in the business of providing inland transportation of containers by rail. It also covers the management of ports and air cargo complexes and establishes cold chains.


It has reported 5.8 per cent fall in consolidated net profit to INR2.9 billion (US$34,7 million) on a 1.6 per cent decline in net sales to INR22,878,300,000 in Q4 FY25 as compared with Q4 FY24.
