On September 6, 2011, Prof. Dr. Hans-Dietrich Haasis, Director of Institute of Shipping Economics and Logistics (ISL), Dr. Hendrik Wildebrand, Project Manager, came to visit Shanghai International Shipping Institute (SISI).
Zhen Hong, Secretary General of Shanghai International Shipping Institute, Li Gang, Deputy Secretary General, and Zhang Jieshu, Director of Shipping Market Analysis Department, and Angela from the International Cooperation Department of SISI, had a face to face exchange with the guests.
Institute of Shipping Economics and Logistics was founded in Bremen in 1954. It is one of Europe’s leading institutes in the area of maritime research, consulting and knowledge transfer.
The two parties have reached consensus that it is their shared wish to establish cooperative relations with each other since they have quite a lot in common. A brilliant prospect of cooperation between ISL and SISI has therefore been unfolded.
