On July 2, the occasion of the 89th Anniversary of the founding of CPC, the Party Branch directly under Shanghai International Shipping Institute (SISI) organized learning activities for party members. The activities focused on the speech of Hu Jintao delivered at the meeting with representatives of the national advanced grassroots party organizations and outstanding party members. They also learned the content of the symposium of Shanghai Maritime University in celebration of the 89th Anniversary of the founding of CPC, and the document of Implementation Plan of Shanghai Maritime University for Carrying out the Pilot Program of the Risk Warning and Prevention Mechanism on Clear Governance (Trial), etc.

Secretary Li Gang also set a plan for SISI to achieve clean governance and required all party members to focus on their own work and play an exemplary role.

Through the learning activities, all party members understood the spirit of relevant meetings of the university, improved their enthusiasm in study, and set up faith against corruption. All participating party members expressed their willingness to adhere to the development in a scientific way, play the leading role of party members, and seize the historic opportunity, so as to make contribution to the construction of Shanghai International Shipping Center.
