According to the performance remainder notice released by Ningbo port, it is expected that cargo throughput will reach 408 million tons at Ningbo port with a year-over-year growth of 23.5%. It’s expected that container throughput will reach 1.585 million TEUs, with a growth of 20% compared to last year.

In the first three quarters it’s expected that cargo throughput will increase to 333.17 million tons at Ningbo port, with a growth of 16.1% on a yearly basis and container throughput will increase to 12.785 million TEUs, with a year-over-year growth of 11.1%.

Container throughput is the biggest highlight for Ningbo port in September. Regarding absolute value, 1.585 million TEUs hit a new record high in the second half of the year. 20% of growth rate is the largest growth in this year.
