On September 15, 2009, some leaders and staff from Dalian Maritime University visited SISI, including Wang Xinming, Deputy Director and associate researcher of the Shipping Development Institute; Prof. Lv Jing, Dean of the Transportation Management College; Wang Jie, Professor of the Transportation Management College; and Wang Huafeng, a lecturer of the Shipping Development Institute. Wang Xinming expressed full recognition for the rapid development and achievements of SISI, and introduced the basic situation and development process as well as achievements and problems of the Shipping Development Institute. Associate Prof. Zhang Jieshu, Chief of SISI Office, shared with relevant leaders and teachers of the Shipping Development Institute about the basic situation of SISI and exchanged experience and difficulties during the development of SISI. Relative leaders of the Shipping Development Institute of Dalian Maritime University expresses hopes for future cooperation in organizing academic research, activities and forums, so as to better contribute to the development of China's shipping industry.
