NORTHWEST China's Ningxia Autonomous Region recorded a road freight volume of 210 million tonnes for the first nine months of the year, up 11.2 per cent year on year.

    The region's road cargo turnover volume grew 9.6 per cent to 43.4 billion tonnes per kilometre, four percentage points faster than the growth in the same period a year ago.

    Ningxia's road cargo volume carried an upward trend throughout the first nine months. The growth rates in the first three quarters are respectively 4.9 per cent, 6.3 per cent and 7.5 per cent.
