US Express delivery giant FedEx Express has deployed an integrated logistics service that features global real-time inventory, order and shipment status capabilities.
This enables its customers using FedEx Critical Inventory Logistics service to place global orders, track stock levels, order status at various points, and know where shipments are online.
"As Asian businesses become more and more global, the value of outsourcing supply chain management is increasingly apparent," said FedEx Express Asia Pacific president David Cunningham.
"This enhanced solution, which now offers a single online access point for managing global supply chains, provides our customers with an easy-to-use, globally integrated solution to manage their critical inventory," he said.
