LH Cargo connects Germany with Bangladesh
Date:2011-04-20 Readers:

Lufthansa Cargo is expanding its route network in Asia and offering customers once-weekly flights from Frankfurt to Dhaka on Wednesdays, starting today.

The flights to the capital of Bangladesh will be operated by a Lufthansa Cargo MD-11 freighter.

“Bangladesh has assumed growing importance as a production base for the international fashion industry,” Carsten Hernig, regional director South Asia and Middle East for Lufthansa Cargo.

“Our direct flights to and from Dhaka will shorten the transport time for customers and link them into Lufthansa Cargo’s global network.”

The flight leaves Frankfurt on Wednesdays at 01.40 hours, arriving in Dhaka at 19.10 hours after a stopover in Mumbai.

The return flight from Dhaka leaves on Wednesdays at 22.15 hours and is scheduled to land in Frankfurt at 06.00 hours on Thursdays after a brief stop in Delhi.
