Prologis, global distribution facilities provider, has announced it has signed two, second-quarter lease agreements in Toronto, covering 416,000 square feet.

Emerson Canada, a global manufacturing and technology company, has signed a lease for 171,000 square feet, while a leading consumer packaging company has signed a lease for 245,000 square feet, said a ProLogis statement. Both companies will occupy the space at ProLogis Park Bolton, a newly developed distribution facility located near Toronto.

"We are very pleased to announce that our Canadian portfolio is now 100 per cent leased," said ProLogis US-Canada president Larry Harmsen. "The property markets are showing signs of stabilisation and improvement, and our customers throughout North America seek to occupy large, new buildings as they continue to improve efficiencies in their distribution networks."

ProLogis' industrial portfolio in Canada totals approximately 2.2 million square feet in seven buildings. Additional ProLogis customers in the area include American Eagle Outfitters, HP Canada, Southwire, Avad Canada and Exel.
