CARGO airport operator at Chek Lap Kok, Asia Airfreight Terminal (AAT,) has won the Hong Kong Awards of Environmental Excellence (HKAEE) Sectoral Award - Transport and Logistics Silver Award at a ceremony at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre officiated by Donald Tsang, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong.
 

    The HKAEE Sectoral Awards was organised by the Environmental Campaign Committee to recognise organisations in 11 sectors for their outstanding environmental performance. The assessment criteria are green leadership, programmes and performance and partner synergy.

    AAT general manager Daniel Boy received the award from Professor Lap-Chee Tsui and expressed his gratitude, "The long-term success of the Transport & Logistics industry and sustainable "green" solutions must go hand-in-hand. Real actions with meaningful and measurable targets are therefore essential to propel the industry forward. AAT is honoured to be recognised for the efforts it has put in to implement the various "green" initiatives. We will do more to achieve greater success."
