Fulvio Carlini, chairman of chartering &documentary committee, FONASBA (Federation of National Associations of Ship Brokers and Agents), came to explore prospective cooperation with Shanghai International Shipping Institute (SISI) March 15, 2013.

He was received by Prof. Zhen Hong, Secretary General SISI, Prof. Li Gang and Prof. Zhang Jieshu, Deputy Secretary General SISI, etc.

FONASBA is the only worldwide organization representing the shipbroking and ship agency professions. It endeavors to promote and protect the interests of those professions and to ensure their vital role in the safe, efficient and effective movement of goods and passengers by sea is recognized and acknowledged in the wider transport industry and by authorities and legislators worldwide.

As chairman of chartering &documentary committee FONASBA, Mr. Fulvio Carlini enjoys wide exchanges with ship brokers and agents worldwide. He believes their Chinese counterparts will play an increasingly significant role in FONASBA. He then invites SISI to participate in FONASBA’s annual assembly in Peru late October.
