On the morning of July 31, 2009, SISI Director and SMU President Yu Shicheng met with the visiting President of Korea Maritime Institute Ghang Jong-hee and his entourage of 6 people. The two sides held talks on the cooperation between Korea Maritime Institute and SISI. Director Yu introduced the functions, operating model and business development of SISI. The two sides exchanged views on cooperation and agreed to make further consultations on the contents of the cooperation agreement. The participants also included Secretary-General Zhen Hong of SISI, and Director Yu Hongrong of Foreign Affairs Office of Shanghai Maritime University.
